Sub: Career Advancement – Extension of time to complete the refresher course up to 30-06-1011 – requested – reg.

Ref: Our letter dated 14-12-2009

The University and College teachers have to undergo a specified number of refresher/ orientation courses for getting career advancement as per the UGC regulations. The UGC has been extending the deadline to complete the courses for those teachers who could not fulfil the requirements for non-availability of opportunities.

As several teachers could not complete the required number of courses before, the current deadline i.e. 30-06-2009 for the lack of opportunities and are being denied CAS, we request you to do the needful to extend the deadline to 30^th June 2011.

We do hope you would consider the request favourably and help a large number of teachers.
